HP reveals ElitePad 900 Windows 8 Tablet – Aimed for Corporate Execs
The giant leader in computing devices “Hewlett-Packard” HP announced its Windows 8 elitepad 900, which is on the track of its launch by the state of next year. It is a true tablet unlike Envy series of convertible notebooks.
Particularly aimed for enterprises or corporate users, this device features a 10.1 inch HD display covered with gorilla glass 2, which is indeed very large in size. Beautifully finished in a 9.1 mm thin aluminium case, this device weighs only 105 pounds.
Inside of the device lies a snappy and latest Intel Clover Trail Processor with 2GB of RAM and storage of 64GB. Equipped with a 8MP rear camera and a 1080p HD front camera this device features good versatile functionality. Other features include voice input, stylus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Compass, Accelerometer etc.
An interesting part about HP’s elitepad 900 is that it can wear various “smart jackets” which totally changes its functionality and provide the ease of use. With a unique docking system this tab can be used as a desktop pc.
Smart Jackets includes integrated keyboard, connecting ports, SD card readers etc.
Company also claimed that this tablet will resist vibrations, drops, high temperatures and altitudes.
HP has not yet unveiled the price for this product yet. Hope that HP is maintaining its secrets till the launch of windows 8.
We can just say that in the world of Android tablets these days, this Windows 8 Tab could give a birth to a new era of competition in computing devices.
