Pulse News now Available as Desktop Web Version

| August 10, 2012 | 0 Comments

If you are an avid news reader then you know what pulse is. Pulse has been my favorite news reader whether it’s my phone or tablet and I always wanted its desktop version.

After making its mark as an app for Android and iOS devices, the app has debuted its web version – Pulse.me. That means you can read your customized news on your desktop or laptop in any browser. I always wanted a web tool which is sleek and better than ‘awful’ Google reader.
Pulse News for Web

Is it same as mobile and tablet?

No. It’s not exactly same as mobile or tablet version. And the stories are shown tiled. Unlike mobile/tablet app, the stories are not shown according to sources but the most recent stories (from all the sources) are shown at the top (stacked).

The best part:

As you know that Pulse allows us to make an account and its required to make an account for web verision, you can sync the tabs, sources and saved stories to the cloud so that you can access it instantly no matter what device you use. All you have to do is login to pulse.

I would love to read stories on pulse’ desktop app for windows. That will be more stable and fast. Wait goes on.
