Samsung Reveals Its 2nd Gen Series 9 Notebook in India
The Korean company has launched its 2nd generation series 9 ultra thin nootbooks in Indian market. Its the thinnest notebook ever by samsung. Company claims this notebook to be the worlds thinnest and compact premium league notebook.
Ranjit Yadav, country head for Samsung India mobiles and IT states that the series 9 is crafted and engineered with aerodynamic design and has top performance and functionality.
The 13″ inch version measures 12.9 mm thickness and weighs 1.16 kg. Former the Toshiba Protege 2830 used to claim as the thinnest and lightest measuring 15.9mm thickness and 1.12 kg of weight amongs the race of other ultra books in the world. Comparing it to Apple’s Macbook Air, MBA is 17 mm thick and weighs 1.35 Kgs (13″ model).
The series 9 is on top of the range features an qHD 2560×1440 display, powered by i7 processor which clocks at 1.9 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 256 GB of hard disk, Intel HD graphics 400, HDMI, USB-2.0 and USB-3.0, Memory card reader etc., Runs on Windows 7 and also configured with Windows 8. At a price range starting from Rs. 1,02,990.
Besides this Samsung has also launched its series 5 550p notebooks powered by Quad- core Intel i7 processors, full HD display,2 GB NVIDIA graphics, Blue ray player and 1 TB of hard disk space. Starting from Rs 62000 in Indian market.
Samsung as a strong brand in the market is expanding itself in every Gizmo league and trying to give the best to the consumers.
