Barnes & Noble Nook HD And HD+ Officially Unveiled

At the time of Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD announcement, there was a little spark that made Barnes & Noble to give quite a tough competition to Kindle Fire HD, and after several weeks Barnes & Noble has come up with its two new tablets the 7” Nook HD and the 9” Nook HD+, announced this week in an special event organized by the company.

The company is aiming a toe to toe competition with the Amazon’s Fire range. Company has claimed that these two tablets have been developed with their great efforts and emphasizes on hardware configuration.

Nook HD 7”

The Nook HD 7” is a clean looking stubby little thing with great defined dimensions and rounded corners. The grip feels good with a soft touch mat finish. Weighs at 319 grams, it will surely give a competition to its rival like the Kindle Fire HD weighing 395 grams.

B&N Nook 9inch Nook 9” HD+.

The Nook 9” is pretty much similar to the Nook 7”; all it gets is the additional extra large screen with brighter and glimpse feeling. Its design is pretty much tough and is also 20% lighter than the current iPad in the market. Nook HD+ weighs at 515 grams which is surely a light aspect when comparing with large dimensional tabs in the market. Its screen is up to the mark and delivers perfect viewing angles for reading.
