Nexus 7 vs Kindle Fire copy

Nexus 7 is a perfect competitor to Amazon’s Kindle Fire. And its far better than Kindle Fire in every aspect, most importantly, the price. In almost every aspect, Nexus 7 is the clear winner.

Nexus 7 over Kindle Fire

  1. Android’s latest OS 4.1 Jelly bean over that old 2.3 Gingerbread.
  2. 1.3 Ghz Quad core CPU over dual-core one.
  3. NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset.
  4. Google Chrome as default browser.
  5. Display- Display on Nexus 7 has more pixel density, means more clear.
  6. Nexus 7 Display screen is protected by Corning’s gorilla glass. Well, that’s a plus point.
  7. Weight and thickness, both are comparatively lower.
  8. Nexus 7 will be available in two storage versions- 8 and 16 GB.
  9. 1 GB RAM over 512 MB.
  10. Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC over just Wifi.
  11. 1.2 MP Camera(Front) over NO camera.
  12. More sensors: Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. Kindle Fire has accelerometer only.

Finally, last but not the least, Nexus 7 is packed with these bunch of features at just $199.
