Razor Edge

What you are seeing above is particularly a gaming tablet manufactured by Razor, unveiled at CES, Las Vegas. The Razor edge gaming tablet is so well made and developed that it has an ability of becoming the first Windows 8 convertible tablet ever seen to get converted into a full-fledged gaming device.

This could be the future of PC gaming.

Razor has been dreaming of this project for a long time and now they have finally come up with their dream in the form of Razor Edge Tablet.

Razor’s CEO Min Liang Tan says that this futuristic tablet is going to come in two variants where the standard one will feature an Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, NVIDIA GT640M LE GPU, 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0 and a 64GB SSD. And all these makes it worth $999.

Whereas the other variant will be a beefed up version of the Razor Edge, packed with an Intel Core i7 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz, 128 or 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM. This variant of Edge will cost $1299.

The game pad attached to the Edge gives it a console like feeling as if “we are ready to take off the airplane as a pilot”. This detachable game pad features a joystick in it and its design is one of its kind. This game pad from Razor Edge is priced at $250 which is a bit heavy on the side as users have to buy it separately.

The Razor Edge is a real computing machine with distinct identity of being a laptop, a tablet or a gaming console with a very high built quality, which is indeed remarkable.

The Razor Edge model displayed at CES also features Steams Big Picture Mode, with it this tablet becomes a real thing to have.
