The New iPad – Retina Display, Dual Core Processor, 5 MP iSight Camera

So Apple finally announced the much awaited, much rumored and the most wanted tablet on planet on March 7. It was rumored that apple will name it iPad HD or we would at least have iPad 3 but Apple named it “The New iPad“. Why only iPad? have you heard of iPod touch 4? Macbook Air 4? or iMac 3 or anything same from apple? No they kept it simple and we can soon expect the iPhone 5 as “iPhone” only.

Lets discuss some of its features. Many people are still assuming that the new iPad has quad core processor, but wait there is no Quad-Core processor, it still has Dual Core processor (CPU). It’s got quad core graphics (GPU). The best features of new iPad is its Retina Display and 5 MP camera. iPad’s display is just double than the previous one (iPad 2′s), the resolution is 2048×1536 pixels. and the camera is as awesome as the iPhone 4S but its 5 MP, can shoot 1080p Full HD movies.

iPad was announced along with the new Apple TV, and Apple also announced the all new iOS 5.1. Along with that, many awesome apps and games were also publicized. Like iPhoto (Awesome photo editing tool – believe me), I myself tried this app and found it the best photo editing app ever on any mobile device and much simpler than any software till date.
