Will You Buy The Dual Screen Android Tablet – Sony Tablet P?

| January 19, 2012 | 0 Comments

Sony had launched two tablets last year; One was Tablet S and other was Tablet P. Tablet S is same as the other game players in the market i.e. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Asus eee Pad Transformer (and Prime). But Tablet P is different from all. It is a dual screen tablet which has two 5.5″ Capactive touchscreen screens with good resolution of 1024*480. It comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb which can be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich (in near future).

It has already been  launched in few countries like India, Japan, etc and yet to launch the same in USA. In India, it is priced at Rs. 36990 ($730) which is quite very high compared to iPad and other players available in the field. It has nothing extra-ordinary except dual screen but has only 4GB Internal memory which should have been at least 16 GB.

The tablet features:

  • Dual 5.5″ touch screens
  • Latest Android™ platform
  • 4G capable
  • Sony Entertainment Network with Music Unlimited
  • Video Unlimited and games for PS Certified devices
  • TruBlack™ display

It comes with some pre-loaded entertainment pack: Pre-loaded Crash Bandicoot game, Free 180-day basic membership to Music Unlimited, Free movie download from Video Unlimited, Free eBook download from Reader Store. With cross-connectivity between the Sony Tablet P and your DLNA-compatible TV, PC or speakers, it’s easy to share the fun(link).
