The rumors wrapping around the Microsoft Xbox 720 might get into the real world by the end of this year. This time the Xbox 720 is expected to come up with some more advanced specs to perform better than its predecessor, the Xbox360. Rumors say that the Xbox 720 will be equipped with an AMD 700 series GPU with 3D display output.

With that, it is also rumored that Xbox 720 will arrive with a Blue Ray drive and the latest Xbox 720 leaks indicate that it will support 1080p 3D output and DVR functionality.

Talking about the controller, the Xbox 720 is going to have the popular, trusty and rigid control pad / gamepad as the Xbox 360 one.

It is also considered that Microsoft may incorporate the second version of its Kinect motion sensor hardware with the Xbox 720 to make it a step ahead in the league of high end gaming consoles.

Nothing much is clear about the pricing strategy of the Xbox 720, but it is said to be priced under $300 which will be pretty ambitious for all of us as the Sony PS4 is going to launch on 20th of February this year at a price tag of $400.

Well this year is going to be fruitful for the gamers with some advanced and new performance oriented gaming devices. Don’t forget to have a look at NVIDIA Shield.
