In the ongoing MWC 2012 event at Barcelona, Samsung has announced a Giant Monster mobile – Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. After the success of 5″ screen sized mobile samsung launches another ‘Note‘ whose screen size is just double to that of the earlier one. You will need a carry bag or a personal assistant to keep this phone with you.

This is both a tablet and a mobile phone. You can do everything you do on a regular Android tablet and everything you do on an android mobile as well. But ofcourse it won’t be your primary mobile phone after all. It seems to replace the regular land line phones, hehe.

Jokes apart, lets discuss about some of its features. Its a tablet-cum-mobile phone which runs on Android 4.0 ICS operating system with a dual core 1.4 Ghz CPU. And has got a 3.15 MP camera with LED flash and auto-focus which records Full HD video at 1080p resolution. and has a secondary 2 MP camera. Its screen size is 10.1″ whose resolution is 800 x 1280 pixels (149 ppi pixel density).

It’s weighted more than half a KG, 583 grams to be precise. If we compare it to iPad 2, its a bit lighter. iPad 2 WiFi only model weighs at 601 grams and the wifi plus 3G one is weighted at 607 grams. The Note 10.1 is not slimmer than iPad2, Its behind with just 0.1 mm but who cares.

Key Specs:

  • Android OS 4.0 ICS
  • Dual Core 1.4 Ghz processor
  • 10.1″ Screen | Resolution – 800 x 1280 pixels
