How To Know Which Effect Was Used in Instagram Photo

| June 13, 2012 | 0 Comments

Ever thought whether which effect was used in someone’s photo on instagram? Well, the instagram itself doesn’t tell you about that and doesn’t let you browse user’s photos on desktop too (unless you are using any third party app, plugin, extension or website).

Instagram with Statigram

I have recently come to about a website which lets us browse user’s instagram images and lets us know the image effect he/she used while uploading the photo. Its statigr.am. And It even shows the likes and comments on the photo.

Ok so how to do it?

  1. Go to Statigr.am and start searching for users/ pics/ tags
  2. OR (if you know the username) just write like this statigr.am/<username>
  3. Now as soon as you open any photo, you will see the effect below the image.
  4. Complicated? Here’s the video for that.

This video shows how to browse Instagram on Desktop – includes the effect show.
