You can either mute friends who continuously send (or spam) your notifications or you can simply mute those games you don’t want notifications for.

This isn’t just for games, You can mute (or block, as Facebook termed it) any unwanted app from bugging your notifications. Just follow these easy steps:

  • Go to Blocking Settings on Facebook.
  • Scroll down to “Block app invites” & type the name of your friends you don’t want to receive game invites from.
    AND / OR
  • Go to “Block apps” & type the name of apps (games) you don’t want to receive invites of.
