WhatsApp introduces Privacy Settings – Disable Last Seen At

WhatsApp Privacy SettingsNow you can hide (or you can say disable) your ‘last seen at…’ status on WhatsApp. No need to download any 3rd party app which claims to hide your last seen at status. This change came into existence to Android devices on 21st Feb with update 2.11.169 (not that regular Play Store update).

WhatsApp uploaded the updated version to their website, looks like it’s either Play Store which is taking time to update its servers or WhatsApp will update the app later at Play Store as there’s no new version available at present. You can download the latest version from here [Direct Link].

Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > “Who can see my personal info”

It seems like it’s Facebook’s impact behind WhatsApp’s Privacy setting. If you have missed then let me tell you, Mark Zuckerberg on 19th Feb announced that Facebook has acquired WhatsApp. Some blogs and newshouses published that FB paid $16 billion (and some say $19 billion) to takeover WhatsApp.
